HGU-33 helmets are the traditional TOP GUN style used by Naval aviators for over 20 years. They feature a single visor assembly with a dark visor lens that retracts under a protective visor housing. Our HGU-33 helmets come standard with black leather edgeroll and painted white finish. They are available with or without oxygen mask receivers and several communications options are available depending on the type of aircraft you will be using the helmet in. HGU-55 helmets come standard with a lightweight fiberglass shell that is tapered higher and wider at the peripheral opening to provide optimum visibility to the wearer. Our HGU-55 helmets come standard with a lightweight bungee visor lens, black leather edgeroll, and painted white finish. They are available with or without oxygen mask receivers and several civilian communications options are available depending on the type of aircraft you will be using the helmet in.
