These are just a few of the many designs we have in our inventory. All of these helmets have been decorated using reflective tape. Most are actual US Navy F-14 Tomcat and F/A-18 Hornet Squadron designs that we have provided to the military. After many years of taping helmets, we have refined our method of tape application to ensure a smooth finish with no tape overlap. We use 3M reflective Scotchlite films which provide a high quality finish to your helmet at a price and turnaround time less than that of a painted helmet. One color reflective tape work on any HGU series helmet starts at $175 and any graphics design shown is available at an additional charge. Taping a helmet includes disassembly of the helmet, shell cleaning, application of tape in 2.5 inch wide strips, and re-assembly of the helmet. All helmets are tested for quality assurance before they are sent out. If your helmet requires stripping of old tape and adhesive there will be an additional $45 charge.
